Project Boxing fighters are set to experience a different level of training camp when they fly out to Western Canada.

Boxers including Bobby Faulkner, Calum French, Kiaran MacDonald, Mikey O’Sullivan and William Crolla will be joined by other members of the Project Boxing team in Calgary, Alberta in June.

The trip is part of a bigger event planned for September, when PB fighters will represent the UK in a clash against their Commonwealth counterparts. Ex-pat Mancunian John Gordon – WSG Canada president – is the man behind the plan.

Project boxing co-founder Anthony Crolla said: “This will be our fourth training camp to date, but definitely the most exciting. It’s all part of a much bigger project that, along with providing our boxers with great opporunities to train and compete, will also highlight some incredible career opportunities in the energy sector with WSG.”
